On weekday of this week, C-Span broadcast a debate for RNC Chair candidates that featured such abused underway lead Michael Steele alongside four another contenders together fielding absurdly simple questions from moderators Tucker Carlson and Grover Norquist. Its a ridiculous practice that felt at nowadays like its honcho duty was to wage fodder for The Daily Show. Ladies and Gentlemen, Jon Stewart!
There are a sort of queer highlights, but perhaps my individualized favorite is the explosive makeover of past Siouan land chairwoman Ann Wagner, “who understandably didn’t get the note on how a politico blackamoor is questionable to countenance in 2010.” Through the magic of TV graphics and digital imagery designer countenance dead changes: she gets bangs, a leather jacket, something called “zipples” and a bedazzled alarum pin, after occultist histrion exclaims, “you’ve been Grizzlied!”
Stewart also grazed briefly on the prospective candidate’s stances on activity what whatever see ass an anti-gay position on wedlock from the National Organization for Marriage; to which every fivesome answered affirmatively, with varied degrees of lip assist to the âindividualityâ and âdignityâ of merry people, the classic âNo offense, but youâre not equal.â For a more thorough article on that particular issue, I encourage you to read Tommy Christopher’s interesting and provocative example on the topic.
